Where just a few decades ago the Iron Curtain separated Upper Austria and South Bohemia, today people enjoy nature together and 'without borders'.

Good neighbourly cooperation between the tourism associations in the Mühlviertel and Lipno regions has created a unique network of hiking and cycling trails over 1,500 km long along the European Green Belt.

As part of an EU-funded INTERREG project, a dedicated cycling app - the MüLi-Navi-APP - and a cycling map for the region have now been jointly developed, laying the foundations for even more intensive neighbourly cooperation.
