The snowshoe tours in the high altitudes of the Bohemian Forest are a real winter highlight. 

The hike to Plöckenstein (1,379 m), the highest mountain in the Mühlviertel, is particularly impressive. The snow-covered young trees and the landscape marked by the bark beetle give the tour a unique Lapland feeling.

Another unforgettable experience is the cross-border tour to the Dreisesselberg in Bavaria. Here you feel like you're in a winter fairytale forest as you hike through the snow-covered landscape.

For a more relaxed tour, the snowshoe hike in the Hochficht ski area is ideal. The gondola takes you comfortably up to the Reischlberg, from where you hike through the snow-covered winter landscape to the Schönberg summit cross and then on to the Hochficht summit .
